Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our procurement team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing Import purchasing processes, ensuring that we have the right materials and services required for our operations. As a Purchase Executive, you will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their purchasing needs, establish strong relationships with suppliers, and negotiate favourable terms. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier contracts, allowing for efficient management of resources and budget.
Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end Purchase processes including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Prepare import purchase orders / Inter Company Purchase and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor stock levels / Run MRP and coordinate with the inventory / warehouse and sales teams for reordering.
• Maintain and update procurement records, databases, and reports.
• Actively manage purchase orders by performing pull-in and push-out activities based on changing requirements.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department to process payments for forex vendors by providing all necessary supporting documents in a timely manner.
• Review and approve purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies and budget constraints.
• Prepare and maintain procurement reports, analysing purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and timelines. Providing support and guidance on procurement policies and processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in D365 or similar ERP software will be given preference
• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in Manufacturing Sector.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and suppliers.
