HYDRAULIC FILTRATION
SUCTION FILTERS AND STRAINERS
Suction Filters and strainers protect pumps from contamination, while also providing additional flow diffusion in the suction line. They can be equipped with a magnetic column for retaining ferrous particles smaller than the pleated wire mesh, and with or without a bypass valve. Available versions:
- SFEX ELIXIR® series, for protection of the downstream pump against the coarse contamination
- Suction Strainer (STRC & MPAC), a simple filter element screwed onto the suction pipe.
- Tank wall-mounted suction filters (SFMC & SFSC) incorporate an anti-drain shut-off valve to allow element changes without draining the tank.
