MP Filtri allows regular planning of recalibration of the particle counter range of products guaranteeing reliable and consistent reporting of contamination levels, with a turnaround time for standard service of 20 working days from the appointment date. From today on, you can book your appointment for the recalibration at the MP Filtri USA plant directly online, thanks to our brand new service.  

The booking procedure is simple, fast and intuitive.
First, the user must go to the MP Filtri website page dedicated to the tools, then select the service related to the recalibration. The booking page, now also active in the USA, allows the client to select the type of device to be recalibrated, choose the time slot and conveniently book an appointment.
A novelty that will certainly facilitate the work of our staff in the US plant and will help streamline relations with MP Filtri customers.

zerospark is MP Filtri`s latest innovative product, created solve problems with electrical charge building up inside filters – a major cause of electrostatic discharge. This phenomenon can not only cause damage to the filter elements, oils and the various components of the circuits, but in the most serious cases can lead to fires in environments where flammable materials are present. 

Charge build-up on filters occurs due to static effects, which occur when two bodies with very different charge come into contact.
The body with the higher electronegativity strips electrons from the other, resulting in a net negative charge build-up. The other body is charged by the same amount, but with the opposite sign, generating potential differences which, if not dissipated, can create electrostatic discharges.

Tackling this issue was the main objective that has led to the creation of zerospark product. By replacing certain insulating components with conductive zerospark versions, the operation of an electrical circuit is reproduced inside the filter itself. In this way, to the charges on the filter media are free to move towards the header and are dissipated to earth.

The advantages of zerospark are many. In addition to eliminating the triboelectric effect in the filter elements, it allows the dissipation of accumulated charges, high and long-lasting performance, increased safety, resistance to cyclic flow and optimisation of weight and material costs.
MP Filtri was able to develop zerospark, thanks to the tests carried out with the state-of-the-art test bench designed and built in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Energy of the University of Bologna. This bench allows tests to be carried out under different flow and temperature conditions for both in-line filters (e.g. FMM) and return filters (MPFX) up to 250 l/min.

MP Filtri has launched its new high-performance environmentally-responsible Elixir® filter.

Created to meet the needs of customers who demand eco-friendly solutions, and to comply with international standards such as the new TIER 5 regulations, Elixir® reduces the environmental footprint by reducing waste while maintaining peak performance.

The new filter has in-line connections for low-pressure hydraulic systems with a working pressure of up to 16 bar. An innovative alternative to classic spin-on filters, it features a revolutionary new design which enhances reliability, increases the life span of earth-moving and agricultural machines, and respects the ecosystem.

Compared to previous models that required an internal metal bowl, metal flange, gaskets and residual oil to be removed, the new EliXir® filters enable users to remove just the FEX filtering element inside the filter itself, making maintenance and disposal easier, faster and more eco-sustainable.

Available in three versions and four different sizes, the EliXir® range has been completely redesigned down to the smallest detail. The new connections between the filter body and the filtering element, and between the filter body and the bowl improve the sealing system and provide greater durability over time.

Utilising aluminium to create the head and reinforced nylon to make the bowl has reduced the overall weight of this new product by at least 10% compared to previous spin-on filters.
